Dundee boss James McPake has been charged with misconduct after being sent off during his side's win over Aberdeen. The manager was shown a red card during the closing stages of Saturday's Premiership clash and now faces an SFA hearing.
McPake's team led 2-1 when he threw the ball away as Aberdeen's Jack MacKenzie tried to retrieve it and he was then confronted by Dons captain Scott Brown.
Aberdeen coach Gordon Marshall was also dismissed during the ensuing coming together involving several players and staff. A Dundee statement on Tuesday confirmed the impending disciplinary meeting, which has been set for Thursday, November 4.
