Jack White used his time on the Saturday Night Live stage to honor Eddie Van Halen.

During his performance on the show on Saturday (October 10), the 45-year-old singer had a special guitar that was placed in the background during his first performance of his collab “Don’t Hurt Yourself” with Beyonce.

Before the show, Jack to his Instagram to share a closer look at the guitar, which was made special in honor of Eddie.

I thought it could be a nice gesture for me to use this blue Eddie Van Halen model guitar for one of the songs tonight on SNL.
