His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

As the controversy rages on about This Morning's segment filmed at Westminster Hall where the Queen was lying in state, fans think Holly Willoughby has been "up all night crying".Eagle-eyed viewers took to social media in their droves to claim that the ITV presenter looked like she'd been emotional ahead of her shift today for Wednesday's instalment of the daily show.Holly and Phillip Schofield have been at the centre of abuse from the public since it was claimed they "jumped the queue" to see the late monarch's coffin last Thursday after they were spotted on a BBC live feed camera.

The ITV presenters faced massive public backlash after the photos emerged. Members of the public who wanted to pay their respects to the Queen were forced to stay in line for up to 12 hours, and many celebrities including David Beckham and Tilda Swinton were spotted in line with the public, reports the Echo.After Holly and Phil were spotted not having to wait, This Morning was forced to issue a statement which confirmed the pair had been working at the venue and had not taken the place of any member of the public in a queue. .

Angry fans have since filed a petition to have both hosts removed from the ITV show which has already acquired 37, 000 signatures.Holly's pal Piers Morgan confirmed the star has been left devastated by the reaction on his GB News show on Tuesday.And now viewers are concerned for her welfare as many took to social media to say they thought she looked like she'd "been crying all night".
