Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

ITV This Morning defended after viewers met with surprise as they heap praise on guest for live breast examination

Some This Morning viewers were took by surprise when they saw a woman bearing her breast on the daytime show - but it was all for good reason.

The ITV programme was back on screens on Monday (March 27) with Holly Willougby at the helm and instead of being joined by her usual co-host Phillip Schofield, the presenter was at the helm alongside Alison Hammond.

They were joined live in the studio by Kelly Hopen after the interior designer revealed her breast cancer diagnosis after eight years of avoiding mammograms.

The 63-year-old, who starred in BBC show Dragons’ Den, has said she was compelled to share her story after only learning last month she was "out of the woods".
