ITV has denied claims that contestants on I’m A Celeb are secretly shown how to do the trials before it airs on television. The accusations started after the Bar-baric trial earlier this week where it was claimed the celebs were shown how to unlock the chains prior to tackling the challenge.

The female celebs had to unlock their padlocks while being covered in fish guts and then had to free two stars each from a box containing a variety of critters.

A source claimed to The Sun that while a viewer might assume that the celebs go into the trial without knowing anything about what lies before them, that isn’t the case as they are ‘told what they need to do’ and in some cases ‘shown how to do it and allowed to try and do it’.
