ITV GMB's Kate Garraway faces 'another crisis' as she makes hospital dash and misses Christmas event

Kate Garraway told Good Morning Britain viewers she faced 'another crisis' and had to make a trip to hospital.The ITVpresenter revealed on Friday's show that she had to miss a festive event that she was so looking forward - a Christmas Carol event hosted by the Princess of Wales.Kate said she had to pull out of attending with her father, who she said was really looking forward to it but "unfortunately ended up in the hospital with another crisis".

Kate did not go into detail about who was in hospital but said she was gutted to miss the special event as she really enjoyed it last year.2022 has been extremely tough for the 55-year-old as she continues to care for her husband Derek Draper, who is still battling the aftermath of contracting covid in March 2020.Derek was in hospital for over a year and now receives 24-hour care.The 56-year-old has been unable to fully communicate, has issues with mobility and has struggled with major health problems.

Earlier this month he was released from hospital after contracting sepsis so will be spending Christmas at home with his family.As we reported this week, Kate shared some festive snaps as the family get into the Christmas spirit.

She posted some lovely photos of her children Darcey, 16 and Billy, 13, standing next to a gorgeous Christmas tree. In another one she shared, Kate can be seen hauling the tree out of her car, with the help from her parents.
