Danny Miller has both baffled ITV viewers and come under fire after he made an 'unnecessary' comment about Stephen Mulhern during the National Television Awards.

The Emmerdale star got up on stage with his I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2021 cast mates when the series picked up an award.

The ITV reality show won The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award with the Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly-fronted show up against their own programme, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Taskmaster and The Graham Norton Show.

Danny, who won I'm A Celeb last year during its second stint at a Welsh castle, led the cast onto the stage following the win as Ant and Dec weren't at the awards show to collect the gong after both testing positive for Covid.
