As Corrie fans know, Debbie suggested pulling off a robbery at the Bistro as a quick way of getting the cash she was desperately in need of following Ed Bailey's accident at her hotel and the lack of business at the restaurant on the famous street.
However, the owner got cold feet but Ryan, who she confided in, decided to go ahead with the plan. With Casino Night underway, in scenes aired during the ITV soap last week, Ryan told Debbie that he was going to fuse the electrics and grab the cash from the safe.
Suddenly the bistro was plunged into darkness and Debbie reluctantly helped with Ryan’s plan. But things quickly unravelled when Leanne Battersby found the money gone.
