His boredom has so far seen him baking multiple loves of bread but it has also spurred his obsession with a wooden crutch. But what he is completely unaware of is that there is a crime waiting to be discovered right under his nose. READ MORE: Corrie fans 'baffled' by Gemma and Chesney story and say they're 'calling social services' As fans of the ITV soap know, the crutch belonged to elderly gentleman Ted, who was knocked over by Craig's girlfriend Faye Windass as she drove herself and Emma Tinker home following a New Year's Eve party.
While he got back up, seemingly unharmed by the knock from the learner driver, tragedy later struck when the girls went back to Ted's flat and found him dead in his armchair.
Panicked, the pair decided to keep what had happened a secret, tried to clean the flat to erase any evidence of them being there and left acting as if nothing had happened.
