The 18-year-old man ‘self-presented’ with a gunshot wound to his leg after shots were heard in the Fairman Street area at around 1.47am on Sunday (July 25).

The man has since been discharged from hospital, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said. Just 48 hours later, on Tuesday (July 27), police were called again to reports of gunshots being heard and a group of males running from the scene close to Millennium Green.
