Jaze Kabia looks set to leave Livingston after having his loan deal at Championship side Greenock Morton brought to an end by the Championship club. The 22-year-old was signed from Shelbourne two years ago and made an immediate impact for the Lions.
On his debut he was involved in an incident which led to Celtic skipper Scott Brown being sent-off before he bagged his first goal for the club days later against Kilmarnock.Having dipped his toes into first-team action, it was hoped the attacker would see more game time the following season but an injury on the opening day set him back and he fell out of favour on his return to fitness, featuring just once more before being shipped out on loan to League One side Falkirk.Kabia then joined Morton on a season-long loan deal but the Cappielow club chose to end that agreement early and Lions boss David Martindale admits it may be time for him to move on from West Lothian. He said: "His agent’s got a few options for him.
Jaze has been told that it’s in his best interests to get out playing football.“Morton asked if we can take him back because they’ve got someone else they want to bring in.
He’s a young player with potential but his career is probably away from Livingston if I’m honest.” Don't miss the latest news from the West Lothian Courier.
