As the nation swelters in another heatwave, you may well be thinking of a planning a little holiday to enjoy the best of the great British weather.That is exactly what Joe Wicks has done, as he enjoyed a luxury staycation in Surrey.The fitness guru took to Instagram to share his experience of his stay at Beaverbrook, which is a luxury country house hotel.

A staycation is a great way to explore the English countryside and keep things local without having to worry about passports, visa and vaccinations – which can be a real effort, when the only thing you crave is some major R&R.

For Joe, 36, his luxury Surrey staycation was more than just a regular holiday. It was also to spend time with his family and give wife Rosie, 32, who is about to give birth soon, a restful break.

The couple already have two children, a daughter called Indie born in 2018 and a son called Marley in 2019.The mini-holiday was a cute family affair that involved the Wicks' family spending quality time and enjoying the stunning facilities of the hotel.The hotel won high praise from Joe himself, who posted a glowing testimonial on his Instagram Stories as he wrote alongside a red heart emoji: "A night at my favourite hotel outside of London @Beaverbrook." The hotel is nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills and is described as "the quintessential British Country Estate." Guests can stay in various parts of the serene building.This includes the house's magnificent open-plan suites and the Coach House, where Joe stayed in one the deluxe rooms featuring roll top free-standing copper bath tubs, perfect to ease worries away.
