CAROL Vorderman has started the year off right with a sun-kissed holiday to Portugal with a health retreat. The former Countdown star, 61, gave fans a glimpse inside her luxury getaway at a new juice retreat called Juicy Oasis.

The stunning hotel offer a variety of amenities including yoga, meditation, walks, massages and nutritional learning. The accommodation also boasts a range of sporting activities from tennis to football and hiking.

Carol showed off the stunning views which featured a lake with rolling hills in the background. The mathematician penned: "No filter needed.....@jasonvale Juicy Oasis every day this week.....I have always loved it here.
