Manchester City's title-winning hero Ilkay Gundogan has broken his silence on the departures of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko from the club this summer.
Gundogan — who scored twice on the final day of last season to earn a come-from-behind 3-2 win against Aston Villa that won City the title — is entering his seventh season at the Etihad Stadium.
He wasn't the only player who played a pivotal role in City's success last season though, as both Jesus and Zinchenko, now of Arsenal, made invaluable contributions.
Jesus joined Arsenal in a deal worth £45m last month, before Zinchenko followed for a fee of around £30m a few weeks later.
