Ilkay Gundogan believes that Manchester City have shown enough this season to prove they can thrive without a striker. The club were very vocal about signing a centre-forward in the summer transfer window to replace the outgoing Sergio Aguero, yet ended up empty-handed as they were unable to prise Erling Haaland or Harry Kane away from Dortmund and Tottenham respectively.
