The identity of a teenage killer jailed for his role in the gangland fuelled death of another teenager can be revealed for the first time.

Kemar Simpson was sentenced to 12 years for his part in the killing of Mohamoud Mohamed in Moss Side. Three other men, Jamall Walters, 18, Daneaco Reid, 20, and Romeo Daley, 19, were also jailed after they and Simpson were all convicted of manslaughter.

During his trial, Simpson's identity was protected under reporting restrictions for youth defendants. But after he turned 18, his identity can now be revealed.
