Gene Maddaus Senior Media WriterThe International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees reported on Thursday that negotiators were making “good progress” in bargaining, but advised members to be ready to go on strike on Monday if a deal is not reached.The union also put out a detailed FAQ on Thursday, which is posted in its entirety below.
The FAQ explains some of the details on how picketing will work, noting that members are required to pitch in, and that picketing shifts will be four hours per day.
The document also states that members who work on struck shows will be subject to discipline, potentially including fines or expulsion, and that non-members who work on struck shows jeopardize ever being allowed to join the union.
