'I was naked with a jaguar and nearly died of hypothermia on Naked and Afraid: Solo'
ok.co.ukNot many people want to be dropped into the middle of Guyana’s jungle for three weeks and even fewer would want to do it naked and alone.
But one man who took on the challenge is Jamie Frizzell, also known as WildMan.The survivalist, 29, is no stranger to being alone in the wilderness, and first got the taste of it on his family holidays. “When I was younger, my family used to go camping instead of going abroad,” he says. “My granddad would teach me how to light fires and fish.Then there was a time about eight years ago when I went out into the woods with a pot, a knife, a firestarter and I stayed out for the night.
It was quite relaxing.” The show, Naked and Afraid: Solo, follows eight experienced survivalists as they attempt to endure 21 days in the most gruelling places, from the South American rainforest, African scrubland to the Mexican jungle, completely nude.
As it turns out, living in the wilderness can be very dangerous. “I came in close contact with a jaguar,” says Jamie. “It could have taken me out in a second.
