And throughout her time on the soap, on which she plays grumpy Eileen Grimshaw, she's also been wowing viewers after dropping an impressive three stone and four dress sizes thanks to a popular diet with "no strict rules".
The 59-year-old took on a couple of lifestyle changes after she collapsed on the Corrie set in 2011 due to a type 2 diabetes attack.
Many people believe her condition is why she's been exempt from a couple of jungle trials, Wales Online reports. She's thanked the Mediterranean diet for her weight loss, which focuses on ditching high-sugar foods in favour of more whole foods and healthy fats.
