I'm a Celebrity legend Gillian McKeith has said that going back on to the show that "terrorised" her was "worth it" for the six-figure payday.
During her first stint on the ITV reality show, Gillian clashed with her fellow campmates and put herself in the history books when she fainted during a live trial.
When asked if the money was good, Gillian told OK! Magazine: "Yes. Of course. Why does anyone do it?" She then confirmed that she was paid "six figures". "So of course it is worth it," she added. Related: I'm a Celebrity's Joe Swash credits show for marriage to Stacey Solomon However, a second stint in the jungle for the show's current South Africa series didn't cure Gillian of any of her many phobias. "I'm worse than ever," she said. "I left terrorised and it hasn't gone away.
I have lots of insect phobias, but spiders are the worst. I don't want to get close up to spiders. "On what made her sign up for the show back in 2010, Gillian shared a view that other campmates have expressed in the past: She thought it was simply just a set and they'd stay somewhere else at night.
