I'm A Celeb star removed from trial in dramatic late change as fans ask 'what happened'
ok.co.ukOn Thursday night, the I’m A Celebrity campmates were given the chance to decide who among them would do the next trial, but fans are puzzled as one name was changed straight after the live show.
Ant and Dec visited the camp at the end of the show and told them to choose two people who would tackle the Tanks of Torture bushtucker trial.The celebs guessed the challenge could involve water, so a few opted out, and Barry McGuigan and Oti Mabuse bravely volunteered.
However, a few minutes later on spin-off show I’m A Celeb Unpacked, Joel Dommett announced that it would be Oti and Melvin Odoom who would be taking on the trial, and no explanation was given as to why Barry would no longer be taking part.The I’m A Celeb Instagram page also confirmed it would be Oti and Melvin tackling the tanks.
Fans were quick to ask why the change had taken place. One wrote: “I thought it was Barry and Oti? Was Barry taken out cos he can't see????” referring to the fact that Barry had trouble during his first trial on the way to entering the camp because he could not read the numbers on padlocks that unlocked stars.
