I’m A Celeb's Alan Halsall’s famous ex to make appearance in rival soap
ok.co.ukI'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star Alan Halsall's ex-girlfriend Lucy-Jo Hudson has bagged herself a new role in a rival soap.The actress has previously starred in the likes of Coronation Street and Hollyoaks, but she's now been cast in a hit BBC soap for a special festive episode.
Lucy-Jo, 41, who was previously married to Coronation Street star Alan, 42, until 2018, will star in the Casualty Christmas episode this December.
She will be making a guest appearance in the hit medical drama, alongside Tristan Sturrock, Joseph Charles, Zoe Brough, Katy Carmichael and Valerie Antwi, in addition to the usual Casualty regulars.
Casualty's festive special, a standalone episode titled All I Want for Christmas, will be coming to BBC iPlayer and BBC One next month, followed by the new series of the drama later in December.The special is written by Erin Kubicki and will be directed by Steve Hughes.The BBC has teased the "innovative new special" as a "tribute to the miracle of blood", saying it is brought to life with all of the "tension and emotional depth" that Casualty viewers are familiar with.The broadcaster also teased: "It’s Christmas Day in the ED and the team are faced with an emergency blood shortage.
