As Hurricane Helene barrels through Florida, the state’s theme parks are responding. Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp said two people died in Wheeler County. “We urge all Georgians to brace for further impact from Helene, remain vigilant, and pray for all those affected,” he said.
Other major theme parks in Florida are likely to issue updates on Friday morning, including the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon temporarily closed on Thursday, while the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was canceled.
