Officers were called to Ashford Walk in Chadderton at around 10.50am this morning, April 12, following reports that two people had been stabbed.

A 34-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, were both taken to hospital, with the man still fighting for his life after being admitted in a critical condition.

The woman suffered facial injuries, and has been discharged. Officers believe a 21-year-old man stabbed both people after an argument.
