Keep reading to find out more… Hugh recently spoke to BBC Radio 4’s Front Row (via Deadline) and shared that the damage occurred because Wolverine’s voice is so deep. “My teacher at drama school would have been horrified by some of the things I did in Wolverine,” he shared on the program. “I’ve done some damage to my voice, through playing Wolverine.” Hugh added that the deep tone, plus the roaring affected his vocal chords. “My falsetto is not as strong as it used to be, and I put that down directly to some of the growling and yelling I did,” he said. Hugh will be back in the mutant role in Deadpool 3, alongside longtime pal Ryan Reynolds.
