From Rebekah and Jamie Vardy to Rochelle and Marvin Humes, it seems like a growing number of celebrities have their sights set on renewing their wedding vows.
Most recently, former EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa opened up about her hopes to renew her vows to husband Dan Osborne. But what are vow renewal ceremonies and are they legally binding? OK! spoke to wedding experts to find out… What are vow renewal ceremonies? “Vow renewals are a chance for a couple to celebrate their marriage in a non-legal way after the original wedding,” explains Kate Beavis from Magpie Wedding. “It is a chance for them to share their commitment in a way that fits them now - maybe they have more money to spend on a celebration than when they first got married, or want something that is more "them" than the traditional day they had before.” Why do people renew their vows?
