The New York Times broke the story on Wednesday (June 22), citing anonymous sources with knowledge of the separation. Representatives for Murdoch, 91, and Hall, 65, are yet to comment.
The divorce would be Murdoch's fourth and mark the end of his shortest marriage. He and Hall do not have any children together, though combined they have 10 from previous relationships.
