Former Liverpool star John Barnes reckons Kieran Tierney would be perfect for Newcastle United - but urged the Arsenal star to hold fire on any snap exit decisions.

The Scotland defender has served as back up to first-choice left back Oleksandr Zinchenko at the Emirates so far this term, and boss Mikel Arteta has stated he held clear the air talks with the former Celtic defender amid speculation that he could make the switch to St James' Park in the summer.
