Rising radio and TV stars Laura Fox and Emma Power have been blazing a trail in the broadcasting world since they first took to the airwaves.

Despite having to occasionally compete for the same jobs, the presenters remain the closest of friends in an ultracompetitive environment.

Earlier this year the pair, who also host the Unlocked podcast, co-presented the sustainable fashion show Junk Kouture, in which students vie to impress an expert panel of judges, including X-Factor’s Louis Walsh and Michelle Visage of RuPaul’s Drag Race fame.

And Laura said getting partnered with Emma was like love at first sight. ‘Me and Emma met in 2FM and we were trained in together.
