Coronation Street actress Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley, has opened up on her recent harrowing acid attack storyline, and how her wedding dress needed to be altered for the harrowing scenes.

Her character has been seen suffering at the hands of a stalker, Justin Rutherfield (Andrew Still), whilst trying to plan her wedding to fiance Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

Amid Justin's stalking campaign, Daisy got him arrested after authorities didn't take her seriously, but Justin is then released and decides to take drastic revenge on Daisy on her wedding day, in scenes to be aired next week.

Her big day gets off to a rocky start, after she wakes up with a red eye, has the wrong name on the cake and her wedding car is stolen, before Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) steps in as her chauffeur.
