Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield have resumed business as usual after ITV bosses have had so-called “crisis talks” about their future on This Morning.

The pair have been rocked by claims that they’ve fallen out in recent weeks, with Phil, 61, going on to address the reports directly as he hailed Holly, 42, as his “rock”.

But, the hosting duo – who have been a staple on This Morning since 2009 – put on a friendly display with one another once again on Tuesday 16 May, despite claims of a "feud" between the pair.

While things were civil, some viewers branded the reunion "fake" and "uncomfortable". One viewer wrote: "Nahhhhh I can’t stand this fake, smiley, “warm”, nicey-nicey Phillip Schofield #ThisMorning". "More uncomfortable body language then. #ThisMorning," said another.
