Exactly 1,572 projects in Scotland have benefited from The National Lottery Community Fund over the last year. The community groups and charities that have been busy delivering these projects have been there for people when they needed them most, throughout the pandemic and beyond. They go above and beyond to support the community through any current challenges or pressures they’re facing.

They have also brought light into people’s lives helping them to re-connect with others at a time when social connections are so vitally important. And it’s because of the dedicated people behind those projects that The National Lottery Community Fund is delighted to once again be sponsoring the Scotland’s Champion’s Community Project of the Year category. Each of this year’s three finalists demonstrate passion and commitment to helping their local community thrive during difficult times.

For the last 22 years, Possibilities for Each and Every Kid (PEEK) has supported the wellbeing of children and families across Glasgow.

Activities such as arts and drama, sport, and discussion groups, are open to all children, as well as an online support service which they introduced during the pandemic.
