Helen Flanagan has confessed that she was an "idiot" after locking herself and son Charlie out of their family home, which resulted in a disastrous toilet emergency.

The 32-year-old single mum shared the awkward parenting saga on her social media with her followers but made light of the nightmare situation as she laughed it off. "Today locked outside my house because I'm an idiot with my little boy crying because he's got a stomach sickness bug," The ex-Corrie star told her one million fans on Instagram."He's pooed on my coat and my joggers, stunning," she added before finding light of the situation and adding some laughing emojis.

In her next post she updated her followers with a post which appeared to show her and youngest son Charlie, who she shares with ex-partner Scott Sinclair, cuddled on the doorstep as she said she was waiting for the local locksmith.
