The heartbroken dad of a 'perfect' 11-year-old boy who died suddenly has paid an emotional tribute. Aaron Higgs passed away on Saturday in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, in Edinburgh.

His Proud dad Martin described his eldest child as 'amazing' and a 'team player'. The keen footballer was an older brother to Aiden, six, and Evie, aged two.

Martin, 39, who was also Aaron's football coach at Musselburgh Youngstars, in East Lothian, said: "Aaron was an amazing boy. "He was perfect in every way and the light of the family."He was an amazing big brother to both his younger brother and sister and his cousins, who adored him."He was just so, so special and he will be sadly missed by his family."Aaron played in centre-back position for the
