Heartbroken family urge police to act over dad-of-two's unlawful killing following inquest jury's conclusion

The family of Gavin Brown have vowed to continue their fight for justice after an inquest jury ruled he was unlawfully killed.

Jurors heard two weeks of evidence at South Manchester Coroners' Court before delivering their conclusion on the 29-year-old's death yesterday (Tuesday).

They said the dad-of-two, from Trafford, suffered an irreversible brain injury after being restrained outside The Melville Hotel for at least six minutes and 19 seconds on April 12, 2019.
