Heartbreak as 'talented, lovely young man', 21, dies days after devastating diagnosis
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe family of a 'talented young man and lovely gentleman' have spoken of their heartbreak and he died just three days after being diagnosed with cancer.
Daniel Donnan, 21, was working out at the gym last Thursday when he suddenly fell ill and was rushed to hospital where the devastating diagnosis was made.
He passed away on Monday with his family by his side. The brother of Daniel, from Northern Ireland, now says there needs to be a greater awareness with younger men in particular around checking themselves and recognising the symptoms of cancer. READ MORE: BREAKING: Man, 55, dies after being hit by HGV at busy junction Speaking on behalf of the family, brother Curtis told Belfast Live: "Daniel was at the gym and started to lose power in the right side of his body after he got off the treadmill," he said.
He felt his body change and was rushed to the Ulster Hospital where they done a scan on his brain which showed there were bleeds. "Daniel had an MRI on Friday and then underwent a CT Scan and ultrasound.
