Tributes have been paid to a 'beautiful' five-year-old girl killed in a devastating house fire. Alysia Salisbury tragically died at the scene following the blaze in west Wales last night (May 27).
Emergency services rushed out to the property in Pontyglasier, Pembrokeshire, shortly before 10pm. Dyfed-Powys Police, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, The Welsh Ambulance Service and the Welsh Air Ambulance all attended the incident.
In a statement released through police, Alysia’s family described the youngster as 'a beautiful daughter and sister'. They are now being supported by specialist officers. HM Coroner has been informed and officers will now work with colleagues form the fire service to establish the cause of the fire. “The family request privacy at this difficult time.” The tragedy unfolded despite the best efforts of emergency services.
