Ralf Rangnick won’t shy away from dishing out tough love to Manchester United’s under-performing stars, according to former Scotland striker Frank McAvennie.
United’s new interim boss will take charge of his team for the first time on Sunday when they welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford.
Rangnick was in the stands to watch the Red Devils come from behind to beat Arsenal on Thursday, to secure a first Premier League win in four matches.
The victory lifted United up to seventh, a far cry from the title race they wanted to be involved in after backing former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer heavily in the summer.
