Liverpool great Mark Lawrenson believes Ralf Rangnick will guide Manchester United to Champions League qualification during his time as interim manager.
The 63-year-old German is set to take charge his first United game on Sunday as they welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford.
The club currently sit seventh in the Premier League and six points off the top four. A win against Patrick Vieira’s side could see them jump up to fifth should Arsenal lose to Everton and Tottenham fail to beat Norwich.
