Harry Styles honoured the Queen by starting a round of applause in his concert following the news of Her Majesty's death on Thursday.The singer and actor, 28, stopped his show at his Madison Square Garden in New York City to inform his crowd about the "very sad news" that had come from the UK.
He then requested that the audience of around 20,000 people clapped for the Queen to mark her incredible 70 years of service as Britain's longest-serving monarch.
As he stood on stage in the Big Apple, Harry announced: "From my homeland, there was some very sad news today: the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. "Please join me in a round of applause for 70 years of service." He continued to clap his hands above his head as he encouraged the thousands of fans to join him in his tribute of the late monarch.
When the applause was finished, Harry said: "Thank you, Madison Square Garden. The tribute came as Britain began its period of mourning of its beloved Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.
