England captain and Manchester City target Harry Kane has been urged to follow the example set by Manchester United great Wayne Rooney.
In the midst of the summer transfer saga, Kane was priced out of his dream switch to the Etihad Stadium and was, ultimately, forced to pledge his immediate future to Tottenham.
Goals have proved hard to come by for the three-time Premier League golden boot winner this season. Indeed, the national team captain has yet to open his 2021/2022 account in that competition, though he has found the net six times in domestic and European cups.
