Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s christening for their daughter Lilibet was “not liked” by the institution, a royal expert has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s service for their 21 month old daughter was “totally different” to the formal baptisms staged by Prince William and Kate Middleton for their three children, commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told OK!.
Earlier this month, Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, announced Lilibet had been christened at their home in Montecito, California.
The christening was described as an intimate occasion, with around 30 people in attendance. In a statement issued afterwards, the couple publicly referred to the toddler as Princess Lilibet Diana for the first time.
