However, according to reports, beauty salons have been told to “consider providing shorter, more basic treatments to keep the time to a minimum" and reduce the time customers spend in the chair due to Covid.This could mean highlights, conditioning treatments and long massages during washes could be off limits for now.
The guidance given by the government adds that longer procedures, such as braiding and massages, should be “minimised” due to the length of the appointment.
