Elden Ring is officially Steam Deck Verified, and has been approved in every category that Valve judges compatibility on.First spotted by PCGamesN, Elden Ring has been given the Steam Deck Verified rating by Valve.This has been confirmed via Valve’s Steam Deck compatibility tester, which the company announced as a way for fans to check which of their Steam games would be compatible with the handheld PC.On Elden Ring, the compatibility tester says “this game is fully functional on Steam Deck, and works great with the built-in controls and display.”On each of the four categories that Steam Deck compatibility judges, Elden Ring passed. The testing notes that “this game’s default graphics configuration performs well on Steam Deck,” and adds that it can be played with Steam Deck’s default controls and that the in-game interface text is legible.Today (February 25), both Elden Ring and the Steam Deck have shared a launch.Unfortunately, PC players have encountered some issues with FromSoftware’s latest title.

Velan Studios’ dodgeball-multiplayer title Knockout City will be going free-to-play later this year as the developer will self-publish the game without EA.According to a blog post titled “The Future Of Knockout City”, when season six of the game starts this spring, the entire game will be free-to-play for all players. For those who have already purchased the game before season six launches, they will will receive exclusive legendary cosmetics, XP boosts, and 2,000 of the in-game currency Holobux.Developer Velan Studios says it will also start self-publishing Knockout City over the first few seasons of year two of the game.

Quentin Tarantino films Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill, was arrested on Wednesday night (February 23) shortly after 9pm.Police were called to Madsen’s Malibu home, which he’s renting, by the property owner who had detained the actor in a citizen’s arrest.According to Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department records (via Entertainment Tonight), Madsen was transported to West Hills Hospital before he was taken to Lost Hills Station. TV mogul Greg Berlanti has committed $1 million as part of a COVID-19 relief effort that will see funds going directly to staffers-in-need as well as industry organizations that have stepped up to help Hollywood workers during the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic. Berlanti announced the donation Wednesday in a letter distributed to employees and production teams across 17 shows, representing a massive roster of 5,000 crew and production staffers.

After featuring as the central character on The Vampire Diaries for years, Nina Dobrev left the popular supernatural teen drama for good at the end of Season 6. Based on L.J. Smith's popular book series of the same name, the show was one of the most-watched series in CW history. Developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, the series came out in 2009 and ran for 8 seasons. The show revolved around Nina’s character Elena, who loses both her parents in a car accident, and eventually falls in love with a 162-year-old vampire named Stefan Salvatore (played by Paul Wesley).

The 57-year-old star, who essayed the role of pirate Pintel in the original trilogy, has not been involved in the franchise since 2007's "At World's End". He suggested that a new film is on the horizon, reports dailymail.co.uk.

For the past seven years, showrunners Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan have dedicated their professional lives to “Westworld,” HBO’s sprawling and cerebral sci-fi series loosely based on Michael Crichton’s 1973 movie. In the story, a race of artificially intelligent robots in the not-too-distant future violently rises up against the humans who’ve used and abused them for sport. So one might expect the couple — who’ve been married since 2009 — to share an aversion to allowing any manner of automation into their home.

'Chernobyl' showrunner Craig Mazin is behind the video game adaptation

The popular action-adventure survival horror video game, The Last of Us is all set to be adapted as an HBO series and the project will be helmed by Chernobyl writer Craig Mazin. Neil Druckmann, the creator of the original game, will join Craig in developing the project. They will pen the script and also serve as the executive producers, The Verge reported. The video game, which came out in 2013, is set in the post-apocalyptic United States where a fungal plague nearly destroyed humanity. 

A television adaptation of Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic action game, The Last of Us, is now in the works at HBO. The adaptation, which is intended to be a series, will be led by Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin, with game director Neil Druckmann helping to pen the script and executive-produce the series.

Damon Lindelof may be the obvious creative common denominator between ABC's Lostand HBO's Watchmen, but there's another bloodline pumping through the veins of those television masterworks: Carlton Cuse and son Nick Cuse, veterans of the heralded island drama and the recently launched (and allegedly concluded) comic book adaptation, respectively. Just as Carlton Cuse mentored Lindelof in the late 1990s through Nash Bridges and the pair eventually joined forces as co-showrunners of Lost, starting in 2004, Lindelof has gone on to serve as a mentor of sorts to the younger Cuse, whose writing credits include some of the most exhilarating episodes of not just Watchmen but also of HBO's The Leftovers.
