It's Thursday and fortunately the weather is starting to pick up. While more rain is on the way for every Greater Manchester borough today, it won't be as persistent as the showers seen so far this week.

And each borough should feel a bit brighter, with some sunny intervals forecast throughout the day in most places. Oldham will see the coldest temperatures, dropping below double figures at 9C this morning.

Meanwhile Manchester, Trafford and Wigan will see the warmest temperatures, peaking at 16C into the afternoon.
