The 67th Grammy Awards, which was full of historic wins on Sunday night, pulled in a strong audience on CBS but couldn’t quite beat last year.
Music’s Biggest Night generated 15.4M viewers according to Nielsen data, down nearly 9% from the 2024 show’s years-long high note of 16.9M viewers.
Perhaps more importantly, CBS also says that the show raised $9M for Los Angeles’ wildfire relief efforts. All things considered, over the past few years, the Grammys have rebounded quite significantly from the hit that it and every other major award show took in the past few years.
The 67th Grammys audience is still one of the best since 2020, and was up 73% from the low of 2022, when under 9M tuned in for the second consecutive year.
