We asked Tess Daly’s go-to makeup artist Aimee Adams – who’s also worked with the likes of Sienna Miller, Madonna and Helen Mirren – how to do it.
Get primed First things first: you don’t want your skin to look dry, but you don’t want it so overloaded with products your face slides right off. “For an all day event, I’d prep with something simple like a hyaluronic serum, then use a primer to help make-up last,” says Aimee.
