Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
GMB's Susanna Reid forced to change outfit twice after 'racy' wardrobe blunder
ok.co.ukSusanna Reid revealed on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain that she was forced to change her outfit twice due to a double wardrobe blunder.The presenter, 52, explained that she had planned to wear a different dress during the latest episode but realised it blended in with the backdrop.
Susanna said: "Well, I was planning to wear something completely different this morning." GMB then panned to a clip of Susanna wear a pink gingham dress, which had hues of grey in it.The presenter continued: "This was the dress and I said to the director: 'What do you think?' and Stuart said: 'It looks like I'm the building behind!' "So, quick change into this outfit [a plum coloured plunging wrap dress] and I didn't realise, let's just say it gaped... "Oh, it did!
And unlike Jess, Aubrey Plaza's stylist, I wasn't prepared to go racy at 6am this morning. "We put on air but out of vision, Ed [Balls, co-host] zipping me up and Holly is sewing on, as you can see, this rather marvellous cover-up brooch." This isn't Susanna's first wardrobe malfunction and over the summer she and Kate Garraway confessed how they both suffered an outfit blunder during the TRIC awards.
Kate explained at the time: “We beat GB News, BBC Breakfast and BBC News this morning when we won in the daytime category, and Charlotte won in the dress category. "She really did, both Susanna and I suffered a couple of wardrobe malfunctions." To which Susanna said: "Yes, well I can't speak for you, but I can't pull off a dress like Charlotte but the dress tried to take itself off me." Explaining the wardrobe blunder, Kate said: "Susanna's button popped off just as we were about to go on stage.
