Big-hearted Denyse Boyle has stepped up to make sure 150 struggling families in Dumfries can celebrate Christmas with a glass of fizz.The general manager at The Boathouse in Glencaple has donated a bottle of sparkling elderflower non-alcoholic wine for each of the 150 hampers being made up from public donations – the brainchild of Dumfries dad, Lee Vann-Wakelin.Thanking Denyse and her staff for the festive treat, Lee said a bottle will accompany the ingredients and recipe for the Christmas dinner meal.He added: “It is an amazing gift from Denyse and we are very grateful to her and everyone who has donated thousands of dried and fresh ingredients to help make my Christmas vision come true of providing these families with a hamper full of
