Glastonbury always attracts top celebrities and even royals, but fans this year have been left convinced the Queen was in attendance.

A captured moment on the BBC coverage of the huge event went viral, showing what looked like Queen Elizabeth II, 96, attempting to blend into the crowd during Robert Plant and Aliso Krauss' performance on the Pyramid Stage on Friday.

A fan watching the event on his TV couldn’t help but pause the moment he thought he had spotted her Majesty in the crowd. The unknown woman in question in fact wasn’t our Queen, but certainly bares a very close resemblance to our royal leader.

She was wearing a bright blue coat with the hood up and wearing sunglasses which would make a good disguise for anyone trying to conceal their identity. The fan took to his Twitter to share the still from BBC coverage and wrote: “The Queen has turned up at Glastonbury to watch Robert Plant. That disguise is fooling nobody.” The tweet went viral leading many fans to be convinced the lookalike was in fact the Queen herself.
